Hear From Our Community

Our graduates and partners are leading change across Sierra Leone and beyond.

The Diploma in Leadership and Governance at AILDS completely transformed how I approach public service. The curriculum is practical, relevant, and deeply rooted in the African context. I now lead a team of 40 at the Ministry of Finance with far greater confidence.

MILDS

AILDS gave me the tools to launch my own consultancy. The Entrepreneurship programme was not just theory — we built real business plans, received mentorship, and connected with a network of professionals across West Africa. I am proud to be an Associate member.

Partner Impact

Institutional Partnerships in Action

We work with government agencies, NGOs, and private sector organisations to design bespoke capacity-building programmes that deliver measurable results.

Capacity Building Partnership

Sierra Leone Water Company (SALWACO)

AILDS partnered with SALWACO to deliver a bespoke leadership and project management training programme for 60 mid-level managers. Over six months, participants completed the Certificate in Project Management and the Executive Certificate in Leadership Excellence. Post-programme assessments showed a 40% improvement in project planning scores and a measurable reduction in project overruns.

Public Administration Development

Local Government Service Commission

In collaboration with the Local Government Service Commission, AILDS designed and delivered a Public Administration Diploma cohort for 35 district-level civil servants across Sierra Leone. The programme was tailored to address governance gaps identified in a national capacity needs assessment, with modules on policy analysis, public finance, and community engagement.
