Degree Programmes

Professional Membership

Membership Grades

AILDS promotes professional excellence through three membership grades, recognising the achievement and standing of qualified professionals.

I

Associate

AILDS

Awarded to individuals who have successfully completed a recognised Certificate or Diploma programme at AILDS and demonstrated a commitment to professional development.

Requirements

  • Completion of an AILDS Certificate or Diploma programme
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional ethics
  • Payment of annual membership subscription
II

Member

MILDS

Awarded to professionals who have completed a Diploma or HND programme and have relevant work experience, recognising their standing as qualified practitioners in their field.

Requirements

  • Completion of an AILDS Diploma or HND programme
  • Minimum 2 years relevant professional experience
  • Two professional references
  • Payment of annual membership subscription
III

Fellow

FILDS

The highest membership grade, awarded to distinguished professionals who have made significant contributions to their field and demonstrated exceptional leadership and service.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years senior professional experience
  • Demonstrated significant contribution to leadership or development
  • Nomination by two existing Fellows
  • Approval by the AILDS Fellowship Committee
